Radio Cab has the most market share of any cab company in Portland. That means less waiting between orders, we keep you busy with riders. You will operate a taxi all around the Portland Metropolitan area. Drive passengers and goods to their destination in a timely professional manner.
Hours vary and you set your own schedule. We supply the vehicle and opportunity and you pay a set amount each day.
We are looking for drivers who know Portland. Driving a cab is a lot more than putting an address into your navigation system. You need to know the real Portland. Best restaurants, festivals, music scene and current happenings. When tourists come to Portland they like to learn about our colorful history and will take recommendations from their driver on the must see must do in Portland.
You must be presentable, professional but also show individuality and personality. People love our drivers.
You need a clean driving record, active driver license, be at least 25 years of age and must be able to pass a criminal history report.
Customer service experience is a plus. If you worked in the service industry recently affected by COVID-19 and found yourself looking for work then Radio Cab could be a great fit for you. Customer service is extremely important in the taxi industry and having that experience will help you go far driving for us.
We follow all CDC guidelines and have been deemed an essential service which kept operating during the Governor's shut down orders. We have cabs with plastic separators and supply masks and cleaning supplies to our drivers to keep your work area disinfected.

Did you know the Governor signed a proclamation celebrating essential workers. July 1st through the 7th is essential workers week. Radio Cab was pleased to be a part of the ceremony. Be sure to thank your cab driver as they are putting themselves at higher risk to keep our community moving!

Trimet buses, trains and streetcar have suspended operations in downtown for the night and rideshare has been absent.

We are out working hard for Portland tonight. There is no Trimet bus, max or street car. Uber and Lyft have been unavailable for days. This has created unusual wait times for us but we are ready to get people home!
