Portland gets a lot of out-of-town visitors coming through our famous Portland International Airport. Our hotel is located about 13 miles from PDX, and quite often we get the following question:
Does RED have a shuttle to and from the airport?
Unfortunately, we do not have a direct shuttle to and from the airport. There is a public transportation option (MAX train) from the airport to the hotel, which costs $5 for a day pass. It will drop you off in the heart of Portland, just a few short blocks from RED!
We know that we don't always remember everything we need when we travel, so that begs the question:
Can I send a package to the Radisson RED to collect during my stay?
Yes, you can absolutely send a package to collect during your stay. Please just make sure to have your name on the package, and address the package to Radisson RED, as we share Broadway Tower with various offices.

We know that when you stay with us, sometimes you forget your favorite stuffed animal or your charger, so we have an easy way to retrieve those lost items.
If you believe you have left an item behind, please call the front desk so that we can have the housekeeping manager check our lost and found. We advise you to create a ticket with ileftmystuff.com, so that if the item is found we can match the item to the ticket and get your item sent out to you as quickly as possible!
Your safety is our priority! So we want to tell you what additional policies have been implemented to ensure your safety:
We take cleanliness very seriously! After each guest departure, hard surfaces are cleaned with Diversey Oxiver Tb wipes, Cloros clean up disinfectant and bleach, Diversey R2 Plus hygienic hard surface cleaner & peroxide disinfectant. Areas cleaned include, but are not limited to, door handles, door plates, safety latch and peep hole, drapery pull cords, light switches/fixtures, telephones, trash receptacles, bathroom hard surfaces, headboards, thermostats, desk area, alarm clocks, coffee pots, refrigerator, remote control, television, hangers/luggage rack.
Currently, we have the front doors locked at all times to better ensure guest safety. Only guests and accompanying companions of hotel guests are allowed inside, limiting exposure.

Does the Radisson RED Portland Downtown have an incidental deposit at check-in? How much is the incidental hold?
Here at RED, we hold $100 for incidentals for each reservation you have with us. Incidentals included parking, all snacks/meals billed to your room, long distance phone calls, etc. Should there be no incidental charges, that amount will be released upon check out. Please note that the amount can take up to 14 business days per your bank policy to clear on your statement, but typically takes around 3-5 business days. If you do not see the hold released, please contact your bank directly!

Is RED a pet friendly hotel? Is there a fee associated with having my pet stay with me?
We are happy to say that Radisson RED is a pet friendly hotel. There is no fee or deposit if you bring your pet along. We only ask that you fill out a pet waiver in which you assume responsibility for your pet. We also have pet bowls/beds available for use during your stay. These amenities are complimentary.

At the Radisson RED Portland Downtown, one of our top priorities is and always has been the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff. Beginning December 23rd, the hotel will be temporarily suspending operations until January 31, 2021 or until the situation changes t help preserve the safety and prosperity of our community and our guests. All bookings during this period of closure will be moved to a nearby hotel and guests will receive a revised confirmation notice.
