We have a great property at 520 Terry Lane! Historic, Upscale and very secluded! Today RCS was checking the radon levels on the property, so we learned a little bit about testing and why it’s needed!

Indiana is a regulated state in regards to radon testing and radon mitigation. This means that anyone testing for or mitigating radon for hire must be licensed by the state of Indiana. To get a license you must first be certified by one of two national proficiency programs.
Anyone can buy a radon test kit and test for radon. A licensed radon tester/mitigator is required to follow strict protocol to insure the most accurate results.
Be sure to ask the radon contractor you are hiring or referring if they hold an active license. You can also find a link to a list of all Indiana licensed radon professionals at www.in.gov keyword radon
