Raffensberger Photography really started in 1959 when my father Roy M. Raffensberger met my mother Patricia M. Yoe, while stationed at Rickenbacker Air Force Base as a photographer. Some say I was born with a camera in my hand. At the young age of 5 or so I can remember printing black and white photographs in my parent's basement where my father had built a darkroom. As soon as I learned how to behave myself dad would take me to weddings with him. At the age of 14 I shot my first solo wedding and continued shooting weddings for the family business through high school. I Graduated from St. Francis De Sales High School in 1983 and went on to graduate from The Ohio Institute of Photography with a portrait major in 1985. After collage I printed pictures at a lab and worked in lots of custom framing shops as well as still shooting for the family business. On March 6, 1995 I opened what is now known as Raffensberger Photography and Framing. Combining my photography and custom framing skills to offer clients high quality products. In late 2009 I moved the studio to its current location at 347 E. Livingstone Ave, Columbus Ohio. My studio offers a wide verity of photography services such as weddings, family portraits, executive shots, head shots, models, publicity photos, high school senior portraits, pet portraits, corporate and product photography. The other part of my business is Custom Framing, offering over 4000 framing samples, endless mat options, and conservation framing as well as conservation and museum glass. I specialize in custom designed shadow boxes and collage framing. I have almost 30 years of Custom Framing experience and my studio is getting ready to celebrate 19 years in business. I invite all to stop by my studio anytime with your photography and framing needs and I will do my best to give you a great product at a fair price.
