This is Morrah Burton-Edwards and she entered a Google Doodle competition for young people across the country and won 1st place for Louisiana!!! She’s now in the running for a $30K college scholarship, but she needs our help.

Ramos v. Louisiana, 590 U.S. ___ (2020), is a landmark United States Supreme Court case in which the Court ruled 6–3 that the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution requires that guilty verdicts for criminal trials be unanimous. Only cases in Oregon and Louisiana were affected by the ruling, because every other state already had this requirement.
