Meet the Faculty ⭐️

Kelli Nelson
Kelli earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2000, and went on the earn a Master’s of Education in Special Education from University of Maryland in 2007. She has 20 years of experience working with children with special needs of all ages, as well as a variety of diagnoses, physical, cognitive and sensory abilities. Kelli has also worked for Harford County Public Schools and, currently, Harford County Government assisting typically developing students with a variety of obstacles to school attendance and success. She is passionate and dedicated to helping each child live life to the fullest and to have fun while gaining valuable skills. Kelli is no stranger to the dance studio, as she grew up dancing. She combined her skills of dancing and vast knowledge of occupational therapy to start the Sensory Dance Works program at the Rage Box in 2017. She has been an instructor for Sensory Dance Works classes and facilitated the growth of this program over the last three years, along with the staff that she has trained. This year Kelli will step out of the classroom, and serve as a Functional Abilities Consultant for the Sensory Dance Works program, as well as any other areas of need for students with different abilities throughout the dance studio. #rageboxdancecenter #specialneedsdance #sensorydanceworks #rageboxfacultyandstaff

I cannot begin to tell you how excited and proud I am of this incredible woman. There is no one more deserving of this opportunity. a little before and after magic for today ✨ while we might only spend an hour together, I spend hours behind the computer editing, especially when it comes to dance pics. I don’t have a fancy studio.
