I believe that every patient is unique and it is important for me as a physician to not only diagnose and treat diseases, but to understand the patient. Health care now has become a complex process with a multitude of options available for treatment and an explosion of readily available knowledge. My role as a physician is to work with the healthcare team and the patients and guide them towards the best approach.Â
