Our orthodontic team is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant. It is preferred for this team player to be extremely personable and energetic.
Qualifications:
• Must be well spoken, highly professional, organized and have a cheerful personality
**BILINGUAL (English and Spanish) IS A PLUS**
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Observe professional dress code
• Keep clinical area clean and neat
• Seat patient, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials and assist orthodontist during procedures
• Taking digital radiographs, diagnostic photographs and impressions
• Prepare the instruments and materials required to treat each patient, and obtain patients’ treatment records
• Assist Orthodontist in management of emergencies
• Adheres to all OSHA and HIPAA standards
• Discuss home care instructions with patient
• Exercise excellent customer service while interacting with patients both over the phone and in person
• Perform all other duties as assigned
