BRUSHING and FLOSSING
Many new patient I see these days are shocked to learn they have cavities and or periodontal disease. ( hole in teeth or gum disease). They normally state they brush and floss religiously so: How can they have cavities or gum disease? It is not how often you clean your teeth, it matters how effective you are each time you do brush or floss. Bacteria hide in all the small cracks and crevices in your teeth (the irregularities). Concentrate on those areas and the rest will come clean! Hope this helps! Have a great day!
We are SLOWLY making progress with repairs. Being jerked around by Blackboard Insurance Company (Sedgwick adjuster). We will attempt to start seeing patients on a limited basis starting June 11th. You will he asked to stay in your car until someone comes and gets you where you will be taken directly to the treatment room. This will be a trial run so please be patient with us. Look forward to seeing everyone soon!
I am sure many of you noticed we were one of the victims of one of the tornados that came through April 20th. We are rebuilding and hope to be open mid June. We are still answering the phones and scheduling appointments for when reopen. If you have a dental emergency call us for options we may still be able to help. Thank you for your patients and look forward to seeing you’ll soon!
FYI: we are open for emergency and essential dental treatment at this time. Essential dental treatment includes but is not limited to treating infections, repairing or replacing temporaries, fabricating dentures and relief from pain. If you require our help please call our office at 994-4281 and talk with Karen. She will be able to guide you with any questions you may have. Remember be nice to each other!
We will continue our normal office hours and practices. We always sterilize the instruments we use, we always clean the entire operatory after every patient visit, and we always wash our hands prior to putting on fresh clean gloves! These procedures are nothing new at our office. Let us know if you need our help during this difficult period. If we don’t see you, brush often, wash your hands often and please be nice to one another! Thank you
Many of you may not realize that amongst all the Covid crisis we had a tornado come through Pace and substantially damaged the office. We have completed 75% of the needed repairs. (Dealing with a non cooperative BLACKBOARD insurance company since April)
We are opened daily and have been and are seeing patients. We are using the Covid protocol as follows:
1) Stay in your car until we come to get you.
2) Call 994-4281 to let us know you are here.
3) We will come to you and take your temperature when a room is
available.
4) We asked that you wear a mask until you are being treated.
5) We ask that you be on time, we are doing everything possible to
be on time for your appointment.
If for some reason you need to cancel your appointment please give us as much notice as possible.
Thank You for your understanding and for all the well wishers, we really appreciate it during these trying times. Please stay safe and hope to see you soon.
