In large pot
Two 16 Oz bags of split peas
2 - 32 Oz organic vege broth
Additional water if desired
Boil until desired consistency
Himalayan salt
Italian seasoning
Black pepper
Add 2 cups shredded carrots at the end
In another large pot
Sautee in olive oil
Yellow Sweet onion diced
Stalk of celery diced
2 leeks
One entire garlic clove finely diced
When softened add
Package of Beyond Meat sausage non- GMO but not organic
Cook until sausage browns
Mix two pots
Yummy savory pea soup with no pork
Full of flavor, nutrients, immune boosting herbs and protein!
