๐๐ฒ Folks we have closed the restaurant today due to the forecast of this storm. We want to make sure our employees and customers are safe until we know what we are in for. All deliveries have been halted by our suppliers for their safety as well. The temperature has dropped since early morning, so hang in there and we will see what happens! The storm continues to slow its track with the latest model data, so precipitation this morning is going to be delayed by probably a couple of hours.
In addition to that with the atmosphere saturating and continuing to cool, there is a possibility of rain and freezing drizzle initially before everything changes over to snow later this morning.
Forecast is still on track. I have made no changes. We are still on track and anticipating a significant snow storm with heavy wet snow through Sunday, and we will add wind it to the mix especially tonight going into Sunday.
Now keep in mind with the temperatures in the low to mid 30s right now, some of the snow that falls this morning and into this afternoon will melt. By tonight many of you will not be impressed with snowfall accumulation. This is where I believe many people are gonna let down their guard, and this is going to cause some problems.
The heaviest snow and fast accumulation ๏ฟผI believe is going to occur tonight and going overnight and into the day on Sunday๏ฟผ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ.
The caveat to this is if thunderstorms develop this morning and wrap into the circulation as snow is falling along the foothills and I-25 corridor.
So there is still a fair degree of uncertainty this morning, but we have done all we can to prepare you, and letโs just sit back and see what happens. #Kablamo
