It's Friday, March 13, and like all of you I'm watching this coronavirus (COVID-19) drive some unprecedented actions, both nationally and in the communities my agencies serve. The health and security of my staff is a great concern for me.
Like you, I don't know what the next 2 weeks to 2 months will bring with this newly termed pandemic, but I am going to make some changes to protect the safety of my people while continuing to provide you with the excellent level of service you've come to expect from my agencies.
Beginning tomorrow and moving forward, we will be rotating my staff to work from home and keeping a minimal staff in my offices. I am asking you to avoid coming into our offices in ATL, Peachtree City, and Dublin. I am inviting you to call or email us, just as most of you do today, and we will take care of your needs. Feel free to use Allstate's mobile app as well. If you just absolutely have to come in please make an appointment with us in advance. I promise you that most of your needs can be handled by phone or email.
Eventually, I may be forced to close the office and have everyone work from home. I, like other small business owners around this country, will evaluate day-by-day how we can best meet your needs and keep my employees safe.
