Dr. Ray Reza Goshtaseb is a board certified nephrologist who practices in Santa Monica, Westwood and Beverly Hills. He diagnoses and treats patients with kidney disease, including polycystic kidney disease, diabetes with kidney disease, and anemia in kidney disease; kidney stones, kidney infections, hypertension, electrolyte abnormalities, and glomerulonephritis, among other conditions. He also helps manage the care of patients undergoing hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. He has participated in numerous clinical research trials related to these conditions, and is also board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Goshtaseb completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of California Irvine and his internal medicine residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp. Prior to his residency and fellowship training, Dr. Goshtaseb worked as a research assistant in the nephrology division of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
When Dr. Goshtaseb is not working, he enjoys hiking, traveling, watching movies and being in nature.
