My son Anthony has worked to organize a blood drive with Miller-Keystone Blood Center this Friday and Saturday. These donation days will be sponsored by Holy Redeemer and donations will count towards establishing a scholarship program through Miller-Keystone at the school.

This is a summary of the CDC recommendations to administer Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccination for individuals with allergy.
The vaccine is administered as a 2-doses series, 3 weeks apart, into the muscle. It is approved in individuals 16 years of age and older under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).
Individuals with a history of food, pet,insect, venom, Environmental, or latex allergies are able to proceed with vaccination.
Those with a history of sever allergic reaction ( e.g. anaphylaxis ) to an injectable medication should use caution when receiving the vaccine and follow a 30-minute observation period if vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
Those with history of severe allergic reaction to any component of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine should not be vaccinated with the Pfize-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Wilkes Barre General Hospital today.
The vaccine is a great step forward in fighting the virus but we must continue to wear masks, social distance and wash our hands.
The office will be closed today Thursday 31st, 2020 and Friday 1st of January 2021.
Will be open Monday January 4, at 10 am.
