This year our family participated in the Purple Pumpkin Project to bring awareness to epilepsy. Our sweet Jax passed away in May due to complications from epilepsy. 1 in 10 people will have a seizure. 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy. 1 in 1,000 with epilepsy will die each year from SUDEP. Knowing what to do if someone you love has a seizure could save their life.
