In November the Realm family lost one of its own, Roman. Today is #worldcancerday 🎗We can’t let today go by without saying how much we miss a part of our family.
Roman was Realm of Designs very first employee, and worked with us for 29 years. His passing was fast, and we miss him everyday.
Roman passed away after a far too short battle with melanoma. Please use this as a reminder to get your moles checked. 💛

We’re half way through the week, you know what that means? It’s #woodwednesday! Get in on the latest home update by adding our faux wood beams or planks! Our beams and plank paneling are made out of a high density polyurethaning foam. Our polyurethaning is the same density as wood, but without all the added weight. Best part is it’s so much more affordable then using real wood. All our beams and planks come primed and ready to stain what ever color YOU want them to be, not what we want them to be.

This fireplace surround has been rendered by our CAD team.
After the design is approved from the customer, the custom design will start to be brought to life by cutting the patterns on a digital router. After the patterns are cut, and the fine details have been sculpted by hand, the patterns will go to the tooling department to get molded. Once the molds are made, they head out to the production area, where a crew of highly trained craftsman hand make each component. Every piece is hand made, so in return each piece has charter all of its own. No two pieces will ever be the same.
This particular project is still in the design stages, but isn’t it beautiful? I can’t wait to show you all the updates as it moves forward. It’s #thirstythursday! You know what that means? Time for another fountain picture. This particular fountain is in front of Realm of Designs very own Morrow Royal Pavilion, located in Henderson, NV.
Have you guys ever seen it? It’s become quite the attraction for photos!
We built this building and the fountain using our GreenStone method starting in 2009, and completing in 2011.
There was approximately 500,000 beer bottles that went into making this beautiful building come to life.
What’s GreenStone you say? I’m glad you asked! It’s a patented method we developed using recycled glass and flyash. 2 materials that would otherwise sit in a landfill for thousands of years until they decomposed. By using these materials we have developed a 99.8% renewable product! That’s pretty green!

That center medallion is 32” square, and that spout is 3’ long! Our client knew what she wanted and we made it come to life.

Faux wood paneling is so versatile, it’s not just for your walls or ceiling. This is at our Morrow Royal Pavilion, such a fun way to dress up the door. Best part is the sun doesn’t rot the “wood”. The Vegas sun can be brutal on real wood. We’ve had to re-stain a time or two over the years, but that’s about it.
