Who couldn't use this photo to chase the Sunday Blues?! Meet Beau, a Corgi puppy that came in to see us here at RBVH Tinton Falls this week. Look at those ears! FUN FACT: Not only are the Corgi's big ears adorable, but they are also extremely useful. They have incredibly acute hearing that can distinguish between familiar sounds and strange noises, making them a great watchdog. They also have used their hearing to roll out of the way from an approaching kick from a cow, as they are great herding dogs! #corgisofinstagram #Corgi #puppiesofinstagram

Please meet the wonderful Katie! Our board certified veterinary neurologist, Dr. Eric Glass, first met Katie in 2009 (11 years ago!) when she was a puppy. At that time Katie was having uncontrollable seizures and was placed on medications to manage them. Over the past decade Katie has been seen at RBVH in Tinton Falls for numerous additional conditions. Although she lives in northern New Jersey, Katie is like family. She has been examined by generations of neurology residents at RBVH in Tinton Falls, including the very first one! Have a look at this wonderful picture taken when Katie turned 12 years old! We can not be happier to know how well Katie has done over the years.

Attention To All Our Clients...Past, Present and To Come: In the unfortunate event, you need to see our team in an emergency we want to give you more insight into our emergency and critical care service. If you are waiting, that is a good sign. The pets that are seen immediately are the ones that need our help the most as it could be life or death in a matter of moments. We assure you that while it may seem calm on the exterior of our building, our critical care center is anything but quiet. Spring is here! While we are all excited for the turn of the season and welcome the warm weather and spring blooms, here are a few potential toxins that could be extremely hazardous to your pets. So take a moment and review, share with your fellow pet owners and get ready for longer days, warmer walks, and much-needed sunshine!
Meet Shanon, a wonderful Husky mix that presented to Dr. Glass of our Neurology and Neurosurgery department for being unable to walk. Given the complexity and severity of the neurologic disorder, Shanon was referred by a fellow NJ based neurologist to Dr. Glass and his team to repair a severe compression of the spinal cord at the third cervical vertebra. Dr. Glass and his team were able to perform the surgery promptly and successfully. We are thrilled to report that Shanon came through surgery with "flying colors" and is almost completely back to her normal playful happy personality. Just look at Shanon's wonderful smile! We are all so delighted to have taken care of Shanon in the Neurology and Neurosurgery department here at Red Bank Veterinary Hospitals in Tinton Falls.
"Umm excuse me Dr. Hart, I need some attention please!" - Peanut. Peanut is taking a moment to politely remind us to cuddle our cute kittens today. #Nationalcuddleyourkittenday
