This Porsche Boxster was in for replacing the prone to fail IMS bearing. While performing this service we replaced the worn out clutch, flywheel, and rear main seal. With a couple new axle boots this car will be ready to take on summer.
2020 Supra was in for new intake and strut brace. Something about this engine looks real familiar to us. 🤔

This Audi S8 was in this week for some brake work, yearly service, and BOOST. We had the calipers powder coated red with new style S8 badges. We also installed new brake pads and rotors all the way around. We added a little more power with a stage 1 @aprllc engine performance tune. We also coded in a boost gauge into his factory cluster. We would like to thank the guys at Elite Powder Coatings for the great work as always.

Another Fried Clutch Friday going down on this Ford Focus RS.
Warning long post about taking your vehicle to untrained technicians. Does anyone see what’s wrong in this photo? Customer brought us his vehicle for an unrelated repair and during a visual inspection we found something was off with the wheel fitment. The customer had aftermarket wheels installed by the dealer where the vehicle was purchased. During the installation they ended up scratching his calipers because the wheel fitment wasn’t correct causing them to hit the calipers. Then instead of getting the proper wheel spacers and wheel lug bolts, they used an oversized centering ring to push the wheel out. This is extremely dangerous because it is nearly impossible to get the wheel tightened down evenly. The wheel should mount flat against the brake rotor hub. Then we found on the rear of the vehicle they stripped out 6 out of the 10 wheel lug bolts. They even went as far as putting plumber pipe thread sealant tape on the wheel lug and reinstalled. Luckily we were able to catch this and fix all the mistakes that were made keeping the customer and others safe.

Another caliper refinish on this 2017 Porsche 911. From factory they came with a faded black finish unless you wanted to add the pricey option to have them in red. For a fraction of the cost we refinished them in red and added the factory Porsche Logos. Loved how this turned out with the color of this car. Throw back Thursday at a job we did back in August. Took this G Wagon to the next level with Eibach 2” lift springs coupled up with fox shocks with remote reservoirs, castor correcting poly radius arm bushings, and extended stainless steel brake and diff lines. The customer finished it up with a set of 33” tires. This is by no means a pavement princess. This customer has already put this set up to the test.

We had the pleasure of performing the yearly service on this Bentley Continental GT V8 S. Rated at 520 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque these are cars are built for speed and luxury.
Here’s a look at the timing chains and tensioners on an Audi 3.0T engine. This one had jumped due to being stretched. Considered as a lifetime part by the manufacturer. However, the manufacturer in many cases considers lifetime as 10 years or 100,000 miles. Most of today’s vehicles have no problem reaching these lifetime standards. Unfortunately not all of these vehicles can easily be inspected. There are some signs you may be at risk of worn chains. Listen for rattle at start up and idle, long crank times starting, and obviously warning lights could be warning signs. If you suspect your timing chain may need replacement give us a call and we can help advise.
