I try to make restorations as easy as possible with my referring docs. Customization for every case, posterior and anterior, esthetic or functional, it doesn’t matter. Utilizing custom healing abutments or provisional crowns allow for proper soft tissue contours to be formed from the day a tooth is taken out and an implant is placed. Keeping the end in mind before you even start. I use an intraoral scanner to capture these beautifully formed soft tissues for my referring docs. I can send these scans to their favorite lab or use my preferred local lab here in Las Vegas. Now all they have to do is remove my provisional and seat a perfectly made screw retained crown. No worries about parts and pieces. No worries about analog derived custom impression posts and lab work. These cases can be so tough. Treatment planning is so key. Where do we want to end up? What’s best for the patient? What’s the best cost effective treatment plan with the greatest long term goals met. We could probably come up with a dozen ways to approach this one. Utilizing the patients existing implants and converting to a FP1 prosthesis is very challenging. @paulvrenon @desertbreezedental make treatment planning and execution so smooth. Love the knowledge this guy has worked so hard to achieve.
