The response for the community has been amazing, and we’d like to pay it forward. We have a case of toilet paper we don’t need, and would we’d to donate rolls to anyone who may need it (4 roll limit) Stop by our shop, or give us a call. We just want to say thank you to the community as a whole. The outpouring of support, donations, leads, shares and well wishes has us in awe. Our citizens and businesses are second to none. We have found the masks we needed so desperately to keep our staff and customers safe. And to top it all, the state has now classified us as essential frontline workers, and we are now able to receive free testing at the Big E testing facility when needed! A huge win for tow operators across the state. We still are in dire need of sanitizing wipes and aerosol spray sanitizer. If anyone knows where to purchase these items, please message us with any leads. We are not looking for freebies. We just need to know where to purchase. Red's Towing is looking to add to our team of professional light duty tow operators. We are looking for experienced, motivated operators to fill 2 immediate positions. Job Summary To perform emergency road service, towing, accident recovery, and abandoned vehicle recovery using towing equipment as trained. Present to the customer a professional image and represent Red's Towing through excellence of service, safe operation, and by being on time. Major Duties and Responsibilities •Arrive at work on time daily, ready for duty when shift starts •Provide towing and roadside assistance in a safe, professional and timely manner, free of accident, injury and damage •Submit accurate invoices and appropriate payment on time for processing •Complete pre-trip fluid levels according to manufacturer standards •Maintain excellent attendance •Abide by all Federal, State and Municipal laws, rules and ordinances •Maintain a clean driving record •Maintain truck and equipment in a safe, clean manner •Operate equipment in a professional and safe manner •Ensure quality customer service through professional behavior, timely arrivals, professionalism, and courtesy •Maintain a professional appearance. •Cooperate with all co-workers •Attend driver and employee meetings as required for employment and safety updates •Attend training provided by Red's Towing. •Keep current with information provided by Red's Towing to maintain and upgrade industry and job knowledge •Assist in training new employees when requested •Perform other duties including dispatching, cleaning office and shop, maintaining storage yard and other chores assigned by supervisor Job Qualifications •Possess appropriate and valid driver’s license for the weight of the vehicle assigned •Live in a geographical area that will allow for a timely response to calls from home after hours as required •Maintain well-groomed and clean appearance •Demonstrate positive customer service attitude- both to co-workers and customers •Must exhibit good verbal and written communication skills, legible handwriting and know basic math •Have no more than one preventable accident or two moving violations within three consecutive years •Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted •Must be willing to submit to drug testing in compliance with Red's Towing policy and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations •Must be willing to submit information for routine back ground checks as required Job Types: Full-time plus Commission Experience: •Towing Operator: 1 year (Preferred) Job Types: Full-time, Commission RED'S TOWING, RECOVERY, & TRANSPORT, INC Tow Truck Operator
