Many Hawaii residents are recovering from COVID-19 and other respiratory ailments. Police officer David Kaawa was in great shape but the coronavirus took a toll on his health. David regained his strength in REHAB's Pulmonary Recovery Circuit Program, which helps participants improve their breathing and fitness through a customized exercise progression plan. The team monitors their health and progress by keeping a log of their lung sounds, oxygen flow rate, shortness of breath, and perceived exertion after physical activity.
