Today was my first time giving massages since March 12Th. It was intense! So much PPE, client paperwork releases, cleaning procedures.. very, very overwhelming. However, I finally was able to give back with my gift of massage. I will continue to wear my mask and face shield and change shirts between clients. This is a new drape cloth made out of medical grade material that can be wiped down with harsh chemicals. Then the massage sheets on top. I use a pillow case that is draped through the face cradle and makes a bag underneath to catch the mouth rain when clients are face down and take mask off. Yes, clients are required to wear face masks too when face up. I took temps and asked a slew of questions as advised by the ABMP( my massage professional organization). I'm exhausted but well worth it.. may it get easier and everyone be well. Praying for a cure! Rekindled Spirits is OPEN for Business!

Thank you Ellyn Semon Herbert, for your assistance in understanding the SBA Loans for Massage Therapists. I finally submitted my applications for Paycheck Protection Program Loan and Economic Injury Disaster Loan. I held off, because I thought I would be okay for a month... but looks like this will take way longer before Massage Therapists can provide massages again for clients. I realize the funds are almost used up that Congress set aside for Small Businesses... but fingers crossed... more funds will be available soon. May our Massage Businesses Survive and may Relaxing Massages be there to assist our Communities when its time. Be well and Be Safe.
