Hello Families!
As promised we have been on the search for a new mental health, geriatric, and aging Psychological Services! We have found these wonderful folks at ReNewed Aging Services that specialize in Geriatric Mental Health 🙂
We have been trialing this service to make sure it’s the best fit for our community, and so far it is! This service provides weekly counseling sessions via secured zoom meetings. Myself and the nursing team sets up the meeting on the laptop in the residents room and once they are done, we pick up the laptop. The psychologist or psychiatrist would then call, email, or text me with suggestions and updates. We want to keep the family involved as well!
Another great way to meet our residents needs! We are very excited to add this service to our community. 🙂
