Norwich Family YMCA is feeling blessed. August 21 at 4:19 AM · Wow, community, wow. Tonight was amazing. The warm welcomes and hello's, the beautiful weather, amazing volunteers, and the great donors and business support. Because of you, we were able to support 90 walkers and 152 vehicles (which averaged 3 people per vehicle) which equated to 546 people served through our drive thru distribution night. Helping Hands Norwich has been blessed to be able to partner with several organizations to provide more to our community. Helping Hands Norwich has continued to put out specific request to the community and we continue to meet the requests with overwhelming support. Every little bit continues to support the community need. The community is so willing to help those in need and they always seem to answer in our time of need. We are so grateful to see the support and dedication to help our neighbors during this unprecedented time we all are facing. There are so many people behind the scenes and we want you to know that we see you and appreciate you ❤. In collaboration with the Food Bank of Central New York and the American Dairy Association North East, there will be an opportunity to receive healthy local dairy and produce products at nine different locations in the Chenango County region! With the Nourish, NY initiative, 1,500 individual distributions have been made possible which will include fresh produce, milk, dairy and of course Chobani! Everyone is welcome and we ask that if you know of someone in need, please consider driving thru, no one will be turned away as long as there are products left! One distribution per vehicle! Thank you to our school districts, local businesses and organizations that have pulled together to make these events a reality! With all the challenges that 2020 has brought everyone, we have seen an increase in demand for our restroom trailers at construction sites, warehouses, and commercial businesses. In addition to a climate controlled place to use the bathroom, our restroom trailers increase hygiene at the workplace with hot water to wash your hands! Happy Holiday's from everyone at Rentals To Go! With as hectic as 2020 has been for everyone. This year has allowed us to create new relationships within our industry as we have helped assist COVID-19 test sites throughout New York State. We have built new relationships within the construction industry that we hope to build for years to come. Additionally, 2020 has allowed us to expand our service area and better serve our customers through a "cold start" and a couple acquisitions. In the spring, we started operating full time out of Rochester, NY. In the middle of the summer, we acquired Cook's Portable Toilets (Chenango Bridge, NY) and Portable John Rentals (Lisle, NY). In November, we acquired the portable toilet division of Jeff's On-Site Services out of Montour Falls, NY. Through all of this, we have employees working full-time in Norwich, Rochester, and Montour Falls! Looking ahead to 2021, we certainly hope we can return to serving the wedding and special event industry as quickly and safely as possible. This has been the heart of our business for many years and it would be great if we can get back to "normal!"
