🍽️ It announced the opening of a diner named the 𝗛𝘆-𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿. A couple of years later this place was described in a news item as "𝘢 𝘵𝘺𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘦." You can see that cleanliness 🧹 was a major selling point when it was launched.
It may not qualify as a historical event to the Historical Association of Woodbridge Township or the The History of Diners in New Jersey. But we believe it is important enough to the history of the Woodbridge Downtown.

I need your help!!! As many of you know, I work in a Senior/disabled building in Woodbridge. During the past holidays many of you have helped me bring so much cheer and laughter to these residents with our annual holiday party. With such generous contributions from friends and family, we celebrate in the community room with food, music, gifts and a visit from Santa. They look forward to their holiday party every year. Unfortunately, this year we can't! During this horrible pandemic, so many of my residents are confined to their units. Fear has consumed the most vulnerable generation and it breaks my heart. With the help from my FB friends and family, I was hoping to bring a little sunshine to some very special people. My thought was to have every person sponsored with a $5 Walgreens gift card (which is the closest store to them) and a holiday greeting card from you (something personally written to them so they can see how people care) Please share this with your friends and family!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!
