I work at Requarth Lumber (Requarth Co.) and am in awe of its history. We celebrated our 160 anniversary in 2020. Requarth is truly one of the last gems left. If you did not know they were still around check out the website www.requarth.com

We recently discovered Adam Zengel's old bank ledger. We believe this Adam Zengel is the one who sponsored Jim's Grandfather to come to the United States. This ledger shows Adam purchasing lumber from The Requarth Co. all the way back in 1895. 125 years later and Zengel Group continues to purchase our lumber from Requarth!
