This patient was recently referred to us by his gum specialist. He lost his upper left canine due to severe bone loss. An implant was placed (as well as a bone graft) by the gum specialist and a flipper was made to replace that tooth temporarily. He came to us for final restorations. Cosmetically, he was concerned about the dark areas by his gum line, referred to as “black triangles”- common after gum surgery. We bonded tooth colored composite filling material on his upper left central, as well as a lab fabricated porcelain veneer on his upper left lateral tooth. For the missing canine, an implant-retained crown. He’s very happy with his new smile. 😊

Today, we performed a tongue tie release and an upper lip revision for this sweet 4 mo old using our Fotona Lightwalker laser. Baby Charlotte had her tongue tie snipped, just after birth, while at the hospital, which was incomplete. Her pediatrician snipped her upper lip attachment recently. Charlotte was having trouble nursing, due to the incomplete release. Not surprisingly, baby and mom became very frustrated. After much heartache, mom (Megan) chose to switch to bottle feeding, which was also a struggle for Charlotte. After today’s procedure, baby is thriving and mom is relieved 😌 😍

Here’s another fun smile makeover. This patient was referred to us by his orthodontist. His upper right lateral tooth was missing and his upper left lateral tooth had been cosmetically bonded several years ago. We placed an implant-retained crown in the area of the missing tooth and a porcelain veneer on the previously bonded tooth. He’s extremely happy with his new smile! 😁
