A big shout out to all the folks at UMB Kansas City that helped my office obtain PPP funding! Special thanks to our long-time personal banker Dave Youngstrom who kept us advised on all aspects of the process from our submittal, to approval, to funding.
Hey Governor Parsons--just wondering when you are going to take a leadership role here in Missouri. You've done a great job protecting the hard working state employees, and I'm fine with that. The problem is you are to work for all MIssourians. Merely saying that "businesses will fail" is not leadership. Giving them relief from deadlines and requirements and offering incentives, allowing options, will allow many Missouri small businesses the ability to save their businesses and families. Get on board.

The Price Of Experimentation
Social Media is reporting that Kansas City MIssouri restaurants and bars now can stay open until 11pm. That is not entirely accurate. The Regulated Industry and Health Department Investigators have been directed to take no enforcement action until 11pm. This is to give persons dining the opportunity to finish their meal, have one last drink and get out..without having to be presented a "go-box" or "doggie-bag" at 9:59pm. Again, to be clear, patrons must be OUT OF THE bar or restaurant at 10:59pm...not just thinking about leaving. After 11pm, expect enforcement action.
