We have a lot of snow birds in the practice, and some referrers who do not like the digital world quite yet. This patient needed an implant to #19. A quick tissue punch and a few drills later and an @biohorizons 5.2x10.5mm Tapered Pro was placed to about 60 N/cm. He was happy to leave his surgery appointment with no sutures and no blood.no sutures, no scalpels, no post-op problems!
A polyvinyl impression was made in lieu of a digital scan, and sent off to the lab for the restorative dentist. The general dentist's office will have the final zirconia crown for the patient before they head off to Florida for the winter.

I have been so happy with my @vulcan_custom_dental guides from @biohorizons . This was a tough vip patient with a fantastic Prosthodontist in Dr. Michael Klotz(@ho_ho_prostho ). Tooth #7 failed endodontically and a large ridge preservation was performed. We planned the case guided to rest on the prepped teeth and the implant was placed to excellent stability. A fixed temp was placed 8-10 with a pontic over the implant site and no sutures, no pain, no problems!

This patient presented with years of toothbrush trauma and severe sensitivity. He had avoided grafting for years due to fear of using palatal tissue. We utilized #alloderm to cover his exposed root surfaces. After about 6 weeks of healing here, the sensitivity is gone and the risk of any root caries or other sequelae from exposed roots is essentially eliminated.
