About

Your Other Family Doctor.

At Rio Grande Animal Hospital, we are a full service small animal hospital with 2 doctors and a full staff of experienced, compassionate professionals.
We provide a full array of services for dogs, cats, and rabbits and have served the North Valley community for over 40 years at this location! Our patients come from Old Town, the Country Club area, downtown and all over the Valley.
During your appointment with us, we can discuss any wellness issue you may want - from new pet acquisitions to our senior family members. We tailor vaccine programs to each individual and will always discuss preventative care like heartworm disease, intestinal parasites, diet - just to name a few.
If you require further care, we can perform most bloodtests to keep your pet healthy and we also provide full digital radiology services, surgery, and dental health care. We also have a wide range of specialists available in town if your pet happens to need special attention.
