Rita Reseska, LCSW, LCADC, DVS, has provided professional, evidenced-based treatment, in a safe, comfortable setting for over 20 years. She works with individuals, couples, families, groups, and children who seek help dealing with:
Addictions and impulsivity,
Fear and anxiety (no, she does not prescribe medication),
Trauma, loss, and grief,
Abuse, violence, how to have safe anger,
PTSD
Confusion and the need for clarification,
The need for improved communication,
Feeling stuck.
By better understanding the cognitive processes that work in conjunction with emotional components, Rita helps people unlearn old patterns and relearn new ways to deal with issues. Families have found enhanced communication with one another and individuals have found answers to their questions with careful intra-personal exploration.
While there may not be “cures” for some symptoms, as an objective participant in the treatment process, Rita supports a more balanced and healthier possibility - with and without medical intervention - through commitment, motivation, knowledge and acceptance.
