Riverdale Park Crematory owns and operates their own crematory. This provides efficient service at a guaranteed one price and while maintaining dignity and respect.
Riverdale Park Crematory is providing a one cost service for Direct Cremation. The services at this one cost are as followed.
Making the arrangement with the next of kin.
Removal of the deceased to the crematory within a 25 mile radius of DC.
Meeting the Rules and Regulations of the Cremation:
Securing the Death Certificate.
Securing Cremation Approval Fee.
Having the Death Certificate Stamped Cremation Approval if required.
Identification of Deceased.
Obtaining Cremation Authorization by the next of kin.
Performing the Cremation.
Secure two certified copies of the Death Certificate.
Delivery or scheduled appointment for pickup of cremated remains within 25 miles radius of Washington DC.
