Thirty years since I darkened the door step of Kitchen Emporium. Who would have guessed Rob and I would still be together thirty years later. I am more than blessed to have been a part of this thing he started thirty-two years ago. He's put up with my goofiness, my mini temper tantrums and off the wall comments. We have made a living for ourselves and provided for our families while having many laughs and walking the fine line between business and friendship. Here's to the next thirty! The COVID-19 pandemic has called us all home. Author and Designer, Joanna Gaines, writes, “The perspective has changed, and that is kind of our moment of togetherness—those times in the kitchen, those times around the table,” she adds. “I feel like in some ways it’s deeper now because the kids have all of these questions about what’s going on...I would say those times around the table have felt like the sweetest, the most comforting.” 🍲

33 years ago today, I opened Kitchen Emporium with the help of Andy Dukelow and Brett Dukelow. I could not have gotten this building together in a 2-month time span without them. They were invaluable. I also must mention Janell Rardon who has held me and this business up in prayer. Dennis Wieckert was not here at the beginning of KE but he got here as quick as he could:) He is now past 30 years at KE. Thanks so much, Dennis, could not do this without YOU. Our present team includes Stephanie Row and Sam Spencer. A huge thank you for their contribution.
