If you experience kidney pain, your urologist may be able to recommend treatments to help manage symptoms and treat the source of the pain. Your kidneys perform many vital functions when it comes to helping maintain your overall health, including filtering waste and excess fluids from your blood. If there is a problem with them, you may feel pain in your one or both sides. #kidneypain #kidneyhealth #urology
What Happens When Your Testosterone Levels Are Too Low (http://ow.ly/dHKi30iNp7v) Over time, a man's testosterone levels will naturally decline. Because testosterone is the hormone responsible for maintaining energy levels, muscle mass, and an overall well-being in men, a deficiency leads to symptoms such as fatigue, energy loss, bone loss (also known as osteoporosis), and muscle loss. Low testosterone can be treated through the use of lifestyle changes, hormone therapy, and testosterone supplements. Testosterone delivery methods come in different shapes and sizes, including injections, patches, pellets, and more. #lowtestosterone #testosterone #menshealth #houston #texas
What to do When You Have an Overactive Bladder (http://ow.ly/h9aN30iNp7t) An overactive bladder can make you experience more frequent urges to use the restroom than before, especially at night. Luckily, there are a handful of things you can do to manage symptoms. Limiting fluid intake in the two hours before you go to bed at night can help you reduce or avoid disruptive nighttime urges. Also try to cut back on alcoholic and caffeinated beverages, since both encourage your body to release water. #overactivebladder #bladderhealth #urology #houston #texas

An Introduction to Peyronie's Disease (http://ow.ly/NVpb30iNp7q) Peyronie’s disease is characterized by a plaque, or hard lump, that forms within the penis. Symptoms may develop slowly or appear overnight, and may include reduced flexibility and pain, as well as a tendency for the penis to bend or arc during erection. While the plaque is non-cancerous and not contagious, it can interfere with a man's ability to easily ad painlessly achieve an erection. Although some medications exist to treat the disease, generally the most effective treatment option will be surgery to correct the issue. #Peyroniesdisease #erectiledysfunction #houston #texas
