My goal for all patients is to help them overcome the emotional and behavioral barriers that prevent them from being their most effective and engaged selves. I provide cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to patients with anxiety disorders and related disorders, including obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
I conduct research aimed at increasing use and access to evidence-based treatments for psychiatric disorders. I also lead the Anxiety Disorders Service at Dartmouth-Hitchcock which specializes in the assessment and treatment of these disorders. My patients can expect to receive treatments with proven effectiveness delivered in a caring, compassionate manner and to learn healthy ways to manage their anxiety and fear even after treatment ends.
