Robert DeMaagd, MD
Dr. DeMaagd specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of bone and joint conditions in individuals of all ages. His special interests include arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, direct anterior approach hip replacement, shoulder surgery and knee ligament reconstruction, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of athletic injuries. Dr. DeMaagd has attended multiple specialty training courses over the last two decades to expand his knowledge of treatments and procedures. Previously, he taught athletic training at Calvin College and was the team physician for the Grand Rapids Hoops, Calvin College and Grand Rapids Christian High School. He currently serves as a clinical professor at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and is on the OAM executive committee.
