The Natural Medicine Family Doctor
After attending the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy and receiving his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude), Dr. Sklovsky earned his Master's Degree in Science Education from Columbia University Teacher's College in New York City, then went on to attain his Doctorate Degree in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific located in Stockton, California.
In addition, he is a graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon where he has also been a Professor of Clinical Pharmacology.
He has the distinction of being the only person presently known in the nation holding a Doctorate Degree in both Clinical Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.).
Dr. Sklovsky has received numerous awards and distinctions including the College Gold Medal and the Bristol Laboratories Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Biological Sciences while attending the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy. He is also the recipient of the Chemist's Club of New York Award given in recognition of outstanding dedication to the teaching of chemistry.
Dr. Sklovsky is a member of the New York Academy of Science. He was honored as "Physician of the Day" by the Oregon State Legislature in 1985.
Recognition of his outstanding accomplishments and background are highlighted in Marquis "Who's Who in the World", "Who's Who in America", "Who's Who in Science and Engineering", and "Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare".
Dr. Sklovsky's hospital residency was performed in Tripler Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii where he specialized in monitoring patients for drug interactions and drug induced nutritional deficiencies.
Dr. Sklovsky continually donates many hours to public service and community programs. This has included instructing the Honolulu Police Department and Clackamas County Sheriff's Department as well as a frequent guest lecturer at church and civic organizations.
A popular television and radio personality, Dr. Sklovsky has been a regular guest on numerous television and radio shows in Portland, Oregon.
