Happy Veterinary Technician week to this wonderful crew! Every year we make it a point to celebrate Vet Tech Week but this year it feels more important than ever to thank this great group of people. They have all been a vital part of our clinic surviving and thriving through the pandemic. They have been more than willing to roll with whatever has been thrown at them in the most challenging of circumstances. We would like to welcome Kim Trei to Rock Veterinary Clinic as our new dog groomer!
Originally from George, Iowa, Kim is very excited to begin this new career opportunity close to her home. A graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College, Kim has both a veterinary technician and dog grooming certificate, so you can rest assured your pet is in good hands! We asked Kim what she would like her new clients to know about her. She gave us the following statement: "I grew up on a farm and have loved animals since a very young age. I went to Iowa Lakes Community College for vet tech, but took a grooming class and fell in love with grooming. My favorite part about grooming is seeing how much the animals love to be groomed, and the looks on the owner's faces when they see how great their pet looks!"
Rest assured, Alyssa will still be grooming part time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Eve will be recovering from shoulder surgery for the next few months. We wish her a speedy recovery!
