At long last, kayaks are back in stock at Rockfish Gap Outfitters. We just received some new Perception Kayaks Pescador Pro 10's and Outlaws. New life jackets arrived yesterday as well. Plenty of nice weather left to hit the water.

Winter is coming! Are you getting ready for the changing seasons? Gränsfors Bruk splitting mauls and axes make getting ready fun. The well used maul in the photo has been heating this guys home for 17 years, same handle. The best axes make, period.
Covid-19 has led to unprecedented bicycle sales across the U.S. resulting in a national bicycle shortage. In turn, the supply/demand imbalance has led to unprecedented bicycle thefts. We have received more phone calls this year to be on the look out for stolen bicycles than ever before. Please lock up your bicycles, or better yet, store them inside a locked house or garage. Don't forget to keep all kayaks and canoes locked up too if they are outside. Let's not make it easy for thieves.
A little bit of normalcy has returned in the bike world as some Cannondale Trail 7 and 5 mountain bikes have come in. Still hard to get and waiting on a lot more bikes. We currently have Med., Large, and XL's in stock in one model or another.

Helle Knives anyone? Get a little bushcrafty with the Utvaer, Wabakimi, or Temagami. Newer folding Helle, the Bleja is just awesome. The classic Helle GT is also a winner.
Aren't they pretty? A truck load of kayaks have just arrived from Wilderness Systems Kayaks and Perception Kayaks. We still have some special order boats that have not arrived yet, so apologies to those waiting, but it is out of our hands at the moment. Paddles are well stocked too. Don't wait til the weather warms up because they might not be available then.
We LOVE maps. If you spend time in the outdoors, you should really have a map with you of the area and know how to read it. Do not rely on your phone only. Purple Lizard Maps make amazing maps for areas we haven't been able to find in a long while. If you are heading to West "by God" Virginia, come check out the Dolly Sods/Seneca Rocks map and the Elkins map.
