September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month. Signs of #VulvarCancer or pre-cancer include chronic itching, abnormal bleeding or discharge, skin color changes (lighter or darker, red or pink), bump or lump with wart-like or raw surfaces. March is Endometriosis Awareness month. This disease affects 200 million women worldwide, or 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. Despite its prevalence, it takes an average of 7 years to be diagnosed. The most common symptoms include pelvic pain, painful periods, or pain with intercourse. If you have any of these symptoms, please talk to your ob/gyn.

Say hello to Dr. Susan Ezell, DO! When she was going into medical school, she originally wanted to be a pediatric oncologist. That was until she realized that she wanted to help women through some of the best and worst moments in their life from childbirth to pregnancy complications. She loves having the opportunity to be helpful to women through these experiences and gaining their trust!

Meet Dr. Lisa Amsterdam, FACOG. She loves helping women get back to their busy lives after surgery! Dr. Amsterdam was born in San Fransico, California, and studied at Northwestern University for her BA Biology Degree. When she's not helping women feel their best, she enjoys taking trips and exploring with her favorite traveling companions: her husband, two sons, and their rescue dog.

There are two new valentines in the Rockhill family! Dr. Ezell and Dr. Brulja welcomed their sweet babies into the world in 2020 and we couldn’t be happier for them.
Brooks Anthony Ezell was born on October 18, 2020. Elouise Mae Brulja was born on October 26, 2020. Moms and babies are happy and healthy. Happy Valentine’s Day from Brooks, Ellie, and all of us at Rockhill Women’s Care!
