Update in the Covid-19 pandemic:
Hope that you are healthy and safe! Rockwest has begun a slow opening as we meet the governor's orders and DHS guidelines. The staff here are working hard to reach out to ISP teams to prepare some to return. This has been a slow but steady process. Right now we have a small group of people going out to the job sites. On August 15th, we were able to take a baby step in bringing in a few people to start up a small group in our Club T.E.C program (DSA). We look forward to cautiously take steps to bring more people back as it is safe to do so. Everyone is so missing time together. 😷
Closure update for all our Rockwest Family and Friends:
We will not be opening on June 1st as originally planned. In the next several days we will be formulating a plan for reopening in phases. All clients and their families/home staff will be notified either via email or mail of the phase you will be in, a response will be required. Ideally the first phase will happen in June. Please make sure you have an updated email address by emailing Johanna at officecoord@rockwesttraining.com
We miss you all and can't wait to be back together having fun again!
Update on our closure:
Our board of directors has decided to remain closed until June 1st. If something changes before that date and we are able to safely reopen, we will let you all know. Thank you and stay healthy and safe!
Hello to everyone! Since we can't see each other right now, let's keep our Rockwest Family and Friends in touch. Check in and let us know how you are doing and what activities you all are doing to keep busy. Can't wait to hear from you!
Rockwest will remain closed through the month of April. We will keep you all updated with any news as it becomes available. We miss all our staff and clients, but want everyone to remain safe. Thank you all and see you as soon as possible!

The most important thing to the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services and Rockwest is your safety, health and well-being. A participant in our DSA program may be sick with COVID-19, a virus that can cause someone to become very sick. We feel it is important for us to tell you this.
It is a good idea to call your doctor to tell them about this notice and ask them what to do, especially if you are not feeling well. Please do not go to the doctor’s office without calling first. If you want to learn about how not to get sick, or what you can do if you do not feel well, you should watch the YouTube video. Search ODDS COVID-19 Info on YouTube or go to: … More
