• Cough
• Upper Respiratory Infection
• Congestion
• Shortness of Breath
• Cold or Flu
• Nausea or vomiting
• Traveled to New York City, California, New Orleans, Detroit, or any other hot spots inside or outside of the country in the past 2-14 days
• Been exposed to or caring for someone with COVID-19 in the past 2-14 days
Contact your primary health care provider or if you develop life-threatening symptoms call 911.
Rocky Mount Eye, PA adheres to strict guidelines recommended by the CDC. Our facility is disinfected several times a day. All exam rooms and testing areas are cleaned after each patient. We are practicing social distancing and limiting the number of patients in our building. Despite our efforts, we cannot guarantee your safety. You are making the decision to come to your appointment and accepting the risk when you enter our facility. If you do not feel safe, do not enter the building. Call to reschedule your appointment.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
• Do not arrive more than 10 minutes early to your appointment. Please wear a mask if you have one.
• Only the patient is allowed in with the following exceptions: minor child with parent, handicapped needing assistance, and patients with comprehension difficulties.
• Triage Tech will be stationed at the front door.
• Please wait on the blue Xs placed outside of our building.
• Tech will call you up. Inform Tech if you have an appointment or are picking up for optical.
• She will take your temperature.
• Temperatures of 100.4 or higher, you will need to reschedule your appointment. Please call us to do so.
• A limited number of patients will be allowed in the building.
• You may be asked to wait in your car. Tech will need your cell phone number. You will be placed on a list according to your appointment time.
• You will be asked to wait in designated areas by the front office staff. These areas are marked with large blue Xs.
• Please follow sneeze and cough etiquette. Cough and sneeze into your elbow or into your shirt. Failure to follow RME set guidelines will lead to your immediate dismissal from our facility.
