Introducing a new trendy house plant, Anthuriums.
Anthuriums are known for their low maintenance qualities, lush green foliage, and heart shaped flowers that are long lasting.
Good, indirect light is needed. Anthuriums don’t like dryness at the roots but occasional experience of this won’t be a deal breaker. For best results keep the soil at least slightly moist at all times.
These indoor plants also thrive in warm and humid environments.

Most recently we have been touched by the gifts from Maya Family Mexican Restaurant, Northern Waters Smokehaus, Lilac Hill Greenhouse, Engwall Floral Design, University of Minnesota Duluth, Girl Scout Troop 4017, Mr. John Goldfine and United Piping, Inc..
Through your gifts and the outpouring of community support, St. Luke’s Foundation is able to advance compassionate patient care, research and community health. Despite the challenges of 2020, St. Luke’s remains strong because of you.

PLANT TALK / Hanging Plants
We’ve be long and overdue for some plant tips and tricks. 🌿
Bringing to you all tips for indoor hanging plants to add to your homes.
First off, plants are heavy! We suggest using a sturdy hook or finding a natural place to hang them. And space is key for them to grow freely.
When it comes to keeping those plants healthy, hang them in places you can easily get to. It’s as simple as this: the easier they are to get to, the more likely you’ll keep them alive.
In terms of watering, take them to the shower or kitchen sink, water them, and then let them drain out for about 15 minutes before putting them back in their hanging spot!
A new green thumb? We suggest a spider plant! But here’s the rest of our line up: Rattail Cactus, Spider Plant, Goldfish, Pothos, Baby Tears, and Algerian Ivy. Check them out on our story for more info!
