The Radio Rebels, a Southern California ’80s rock and variety party band, will play everything from British new wave to U.S. Top 40 to glam rock. South Lake Tahoe’s newest venue, The Loft, will hold a pair of celebrations New Year’s Eve. The first will be a dinner show featuring magician Tony Clark for $75, with seating starting at 5:30 p.m. The second celebration starts at 8 p.m. and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, wine, beer, music by DJ Abe Lemus, party favors and a champagne toast. This Lake Tahoe paddle-wheeler will set sail from Zephyr Cove Resort for a New Year’s Eve Cruise at 9:30 p.m. Thursday. The cruise includes a buffet, live music and dancing.
