Saint Lucie county sales on closed homes are up from last year guys. We have people moving down from all over the country I am not surprised.
However, if you look closely at this chart you will notice the inventory is a lot lower then last year. When the coronavirus hit a lot of people changed their minds about selling and moving and decided to stay in their homes.
Therefore if you are house shopping and notice it is taking a lot longer for you to find the home of your dreams. Please keep in mind that the inventory of homes is at an all time low. 🏡Congratulations to my buyers on this cute two bedroom, two bath single family home. My buyers explained to me that they did not want to spend more than $900 on a mortgage. They put offers on about four homes and this home was the number #1 on the list. When the buyers put an offer on this home the first time it went under contract with another buyer. The buyers were a bit discouraged after this occurred.
However, I asked the buyers if they would like to keep their offer as a back up offer and the buyers agreed. I let the listing agent know. These two purchased my 2 lot listings in Okeechobee. Not only are they going to build their dream modular home on the lots. They are going to have 3.75 acres to allow space for their children, horses, and their other pets.
