🚨 #BREAKING: The U.S. Supreme Court has DENIED the Trump administration’s end to #DACA ⚖️ Huge victory for the immigrant community during a time in need of much justice. ⠀
⠀
It is important that we celebrate this temporary relief while understanding that the case was *not* about the program’s legal merits but about the route the Administration chose to end it. This means the Trump team is now likely to seek an alternative methodology for ending DACA, though it’s unclear what that might look like and no telling how quickly it would happen. For now - this is a huge and very much needed win. ⠀
⠀
DACA recipients: We are here for you and will work on new tools for next steps. Stay tuned.
Will the 60-day immigration ban prevent you from obtaining a green card? Possibly not. Visit the blog by the Rodriguez Law Firm to learn more about this executive order.
