Bar and restaurant Rogue Canon are your mixology experts at the approachable bar and kitchen located on the border of Soho and the West Village. Partnering with hospitality veterans Johnn Swet and Larry Postin, newcomer Yanni Marmarou represents the new American "canon" of dining in NYC. The restaurant fuses together a truncated menu of classic dishes and cocktails, with a "rogue" styling of Swet (the cocktail maestro) and Executive Chef Adam Salmon.
Swet describes the basis behind the bar and restaurant, "The idea is to be as accessible as possible for the neighborhood through the creative collaboration between the team by serving a menu of unexpected dishes and cocktails that will incentivize people to come visit us from all over the city."
The atmosphere created by the owner's features elements of exposed brick walls, copper ceilings, embossed leather banquettes and low service tables. Artwork from respected downtown New York artists adorn the walls, but the main spotlight shines on the 26-foot long bar featuring a 3-onch thick solid mahogany bar top and large French windows that open onto street level. Once the warmer weather hits the city, Rogue Canon invites you to dine at their outdoor tables.
