On Wednesday our family lost its matriarch, Angie “Nina” Rosa. Nina was in the family business most of her adult life along side her husband, son and daughter, and later, her grandchildren. Our best memories are around one of our kitchens, with her at the helm, cooking up a storm. She will be missed by many. We are so happy she got to meet her great granddaughter, Cecilia. Due to the pandemic, Cecilia didn’t meet any of her family until 10 weeks old. This photo is the second time Nina got to hold Cecilia, and first with the mask off. I think it’s safe to say she couldn’t have been happier! We love you Nina!

As the leaves begin to fall, make sure you're doing your due diligence and clearing out your eavestrough as necessary. When leaves and other gunk jams up the pipe, it prevents water from moving smoothly through to your downspout. Instead, it will start to spill over the edge of your eavestrough, dropping it down against your foundation - which is porous and would love to suck up all that moisture like a sponge. Clean them out regularly, or install a mesh screen to keep the leaves out altogether. #TipTuesday The Smart Screen is what I recommend.
