Rosemaria Gennuso, MD is Board Certified in Neurology and Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Neurosurgery.
Dr. Gennuso completed her Bachelor of Science degree at City University of New York's School of Biomedicine in New York, New York. She completed her medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York. After a residency in neurosurgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York, Dr. Gennuso completed her fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery in Canada at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario.
She returned to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City to become an assistant professor of neurosurgery and was also Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the Neuroscience Institute at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. She then moved to the West Coast to perform neurosurgery at Sutter Maternity and Surgery Center and Dominican Santa Cruz Hospital in Santa Cruz, California. While there, she held an appointment at University of California, San Francisco as assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery.
Dr. Gennuso is currently the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Pediatric Specialists of Texas in San Antonio and also sees patients at Methodist Children’s Hospital.
