Bayer, the world’s largest seed and pesticide maker, has agreed to pay more than $10 billion to settle upwards of 100,000 claims that its weed killer RoundUp causes cancer. A significant portion of the settlement proceeds are being set aside for future cases. Information as to how long the window will remain open has not been shared, but it is certain to be narrow. Ohio Legislature Rushing to Pass Bills for Complete Immunity
Each was careful to make no sudden movements. Any manner of provocation could touch off an extreme response that both sides would regret. It was, in a word...an impasse.
Does the election make you anxious, stressed out, and overwhelmed? Over two million Ohioans have already voted, millions of dollars have been poured into campaigns, and we’ve seen countless political ads — but the Election isn’t over yet.
Here are a few things you can still do to make your voice heard:
-If you requested an absentee ballot and have received it, fill it out and drop it off at your local Board of Elections today rather than mailing it.
-If you requested an absentee ballot and have not received it, you can still vote early or in-person as a provisional voter.
-If you haven’t already, vote in-person early or on Election Day.
-If you voted, track your ballot to make sure it will be counted.
-Check in with your family, friends, and colleagues and encourage them to check on the status of their ballots.
-If you want to go the extra mile, volunteer with other attorneys at We The Action for voter protection support.
